تفاوت میان 2 کلمه shop و store

تفاوت میان دو کلمۀ Store و Shop در چیست؟

مدت‌ها بود می‌خواستم بدانم که اگر معنای هر دو کلمۀ Store و Shop «مغازه» و «فروشگاه» می‌باشد، پس چرا دو کلمه برای بیان آن استفاده می‌شود.


خُب طبق معمول، همان ابتدای کار سراغ سایت‌ها و فروم‌های انگلیسی‌زبان رفتم تا گرفتار اشتباهات رایج در میان سایت‌ها و وبلاگ‌های فارسی نشوم! خداروشکر به نتایج جالبی هم دست یافتم. جالب‌ترین نکته این بود که این مشکل تنها من نبود و افراد زیادی به دنبال یافتن پاسخ این مسئله هستند.


برویم سراغ پاسخ این سؤال. خیال‌تان راحت باشد هر دو کلمه معنای مشابهی دارد و جای نگرانی چندانی نیست. پس تفاوت این دو کلمۀ مشابه در چیست؟ در مجموع باید بگویم کلمۀ Store بیشتر در میان مردم کشور آمریکا رواج دارد و Shop هم در میان مردم بریتانیا؛ اما این مسئله باز هم جای بحث دارد!


Shop به مغازه‌ای گفته می‌شود که به فروش وسایل و اقلام گوناگون به صورت مجزا بپردازد. مثلا: Flower Shop یا Barber Shop. اما Store از Shop بزرگ‌تر و عظیم‌تر است و حتی شامل چندین Shop نیز می‌شود.


Store به فروشگاه بزرگی گفته می‌شود که از جهات گوناگون (تنوع محصولات، مساحت، محیط، تعداد فروشندگان) از Shop بزرگ‌تر و گسترده‌تر باشد.


برای فهم بیشتر شما می‌توانیم Store را یک پاساژ در نظر بگیریم که از چندین Shop تشکیل شده است. مثلا: طلافروشی، بوتیک، آرایشگاه و غیره.

تفاوت های Miss ,Ms & Mrs + Mr در زبان انگلیسی

خیلی ها تفاوت این چند لقب  رو نمیدونن و امکانش خیلی زیاده در بدو ورود به یک کشور خارجی دچار مشکل شن !

Miss  (میس )را فقط و فقط وقتی به کار می بریم که میدونیم خانمی که داریم باهاش حرف میزنیم مجرد  هست و به اصطلاح انگلیسی single هست.

Mrs (میسیز)را وقتی به کار می بریم که خانم ازدواج کرده است و به اصطلاح انگلیسی married یا coupled هستش !

و اما Ms (میز) ! وقتی به کار می بریم که نمی دونیم طرف مقابل ازدواج کرده یا مجرد است !

Mr هم که معلومه برا اقا به کار میره .

تموم لقب‌های بالا برای احترام به کار می‌رن و می‌تونیم به جای اون‌ها از لقب‌های مربوط به شغل افراد هم استفاده کنیم. در زمانی که شغل طرف رو می‌گیم، برخلاف زبان فارسی، نیازی به استفاده از "آقا" و "خانم" نیست. مثال:

 

Dr. Brown

Nurse Foster

Judge Smith


هنگام صحبت با خانوم‌ها به کار بردن Ms. هم خیلی مؤدبانه ست و هم نشون می‌ده شما به ازدواج طرف دخالتی ندارید و کاملاً بی‌خطره؛ یعنی، لازم نیست یه ساعت فکر کنید طرف متأهله یا مجرد و چی باید بگید! این مرسوم‌ترین و مؤدبانه‌ترین لقبه و بخصوص در محل کار سعی کنید فقط از این لقب برای خانوم‌ها استفاده کنید.

وقتی کسی خودشو با این القاب رو معرفی می‌کنه

 

 

اما برخلاف فرهنگ فارسی؛ که، ما هنگام معرفی خودمون جلوی اسم خودمون عبارت "خانم" یا "آقا" رو نمی‌یاریم، در انگلیسی این کار کاملاً مرسومه و اون‌ها هنگام معرفی خودشون خیلی راحت این القاب رو می‌یارن. مثال:

 

I am Mr. Brown.

 

باز در اینجا هم تکلیف آقایون روشنه و هم مردها و هم پسرها می‌تونن خودشون رو با Mr. معرفی کنن؛ اما، مثل همیشه "پای زن‌ها در میونه" و وقتی خانومی خودشو  Mrs. صدا می‌زنه یه معنی داره، وقتی Miss صدا می‌زنه معنی دیگه‌ای داره و وقتیMs. معنی متفاوتی.

 

 

وقتی خانومی خودشو با Mrs. معرفی می‌کنه، معنیش اینه که حواست باشه "من متأهلم".

 

وقتی خودشو با  Miss صدا می‌زنه، یعنی یه چیزیش می‌شه و بدش نمی‌یاد دیگرون بدونن مجرده و قصد ازدواج هم داره.

 

و در نهایت وقتی خانمی خودشو با Ms. معرفی می‌کنه، معنیش اینه که دوس نداره دیگرون در زندگی شخصی اون دخالت کنن و دوس داره بقیه هم Ms. صداش بزنن و کاری به تأهل اون نداشته باشن. خانوم‌ها معمولاً این یکیو از همه بیشتر دوس دارن.

 

 

 

نکته‌ی مهم: 

 

و در نهایت، یه نکته‌ی بسیار بسیار مهم در مورد این القاب:

 

این‌ها رو یا با "نام فامیلی" شخص می‌یاریم و یا با "اسم و فامیل" ایشون. به عبارتی هرگز Mr., Mrs., Miss, Ms رو با اسم کوچک افراد نیارید. بنابراین اگه توی فیلمای فارسی دیدید که مثلاً یکیو "مستر رضا" صدا می‌زنن، این اشتباه محضه و فقط و فقط توی فیلم‌های فارسی دیده می‌شه! این امر درمورد سایر القاب هم جاریه؛ بنابراین، باز فقط توی ایران می‌شنویم که می‌گن "دکتر ارنست"!! (به جای "دکتر رابینسون")
